Hussein is two terms away from finishing a teaching qualification but is blocked from enrolling by an unpaid balance of $1,300.

Hussein is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a teaching qualification at Fez Community College, and is two terms away from graduating. He has worked as a barista to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $1,300.
The registrar has said Hussein can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Hussein has a distinction average, and a department head has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Hussein would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Hussein isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Fez Community College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $1,300 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $500
• Final term tuition: $690
• Exam and lab fees: $20
• Textbooks and materials: $90
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Sending good thoughts, Ali. Study hard! We're a small family in Pune but we're thinking of you.
as a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. We're a small family in Gwagwalada but we're thinking of you. God bless.
Wishing you peace. Hope this works out for you. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Love from Pune.
Hang in there, Ali. Your post was clear and honest. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Take care

Gave what I could, wish it was more. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Thinking of Fez
a colleague of mine might know someone for this in Fès-Meknès. I'll ask around and let you know
