Envigado
Graciela is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying an accounting degree at Envigado Polytechnic, and is two terms away from graduating. She has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $950. The registrar has said Graciela can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Graciela has a 3.6 average, and a department head has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Graciela would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Graciela isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Envigado Polytechnic bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $950 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $300 • Final term tuition: $590 • Exam and lab fees: $45 • Textbooks and materials: $15 Every share and every dollar helps. - María

Outstanding tuition balance is $300 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Thanks for looking so closely.
