Tuition fund for Gerald: an accounting degree at Liverpool Polytechnic
Gerald has worked and saved for four years to study an accounting degree; a $4,850 gap now stands between him and graduation.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying an accounting degree at Liverpool Polytechnic, and I'm two terms away from graduating. I have worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $4,850.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a distinction average, and my professor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $4,850 goes:
• Textbooks and materials: $290
• Final term tuition: $2,450
• Outstanding tuition balance: $2,110

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Gerald!
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. textbooks and materials comes first ($290) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Thanks, that means a lot.
Hope you get there. We're a small family in Kochi but we're thinking of you. Blessings
keep going. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. We're a small family in Lahore but we're thinking of you
Thinking of you and your family, Gerald. Hope this works out for you. I'm in customer support myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Thinking of Liverpool.

Sending good thoughts. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Love from Duque de Caxias.
Wishing you the best, Gerald. Hope this works out for you. Greetings from Mumbai
