Tuition fund for Elaine: a degree in social work at Salvador Polytechnic
Elaine has worked and saved for three years to study a degree in social work; a $1,050 gap now stands between her and graduation.

Elaine is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a degree in social work at Salvador Polytechnic, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a shop assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $1,050.
The registrar has said Elaine can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Elaine has a 3.9 average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Elaine would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Elaine isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Salvador Polytechnic bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.

• Textbooks and materials: $45
• Outstanding tuition balance: $395
