Tuition fund for Delroy: a pharmacy diploma at Half-Way Tree Community College

Delroy is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a pharmacy diploma at Half-Way Tree Community College, and is two terms away from graduating. He has worked as a warehouse packer to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $1,750. The registrar has said Delroy can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Delroy has a 3.8 average, and a professor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Delroy would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Delroy isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Half-Way Tree Community College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $1,750 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $510 • Final term tuition: $1,050 • Exam and lab fees: $65 • Textbooks and materials: $125 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen. - Gloria
