Asher is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a degree in social work at Springfield Community College, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a barista to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $5,100.
The registrar has said Asher can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Asher has a 3.8 average, and a department head has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Asher would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Asher isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.

• Final term tuition: $2,050
• Exam and lab fees: $240
• Textbooks and materials: $210
