Thiago needs my tuk-tuk repaired to get back to work in Salvador

Without my tuk-tuk Thiago can't work; a $350 repair would put him back on the road.

I make my living with my tuk-tuk. 4 weeks ago the rear axle failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $350. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update. Where the $350 goes: • rear axle replacement (parts): $160 • Labor charges: $70 • Road tax and insurance renewal: $90 • Towing and inspection: $30 Thanks for being kind about this.
