The Union community hall needs a community fridge - Neelam's neighborhood project

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 22 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Union community hall, but no funding. We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $350. It will serve about 422 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in April and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance. Where the $350 goes: • Permits and inspections: $35 • Tools hire and delivery: $80 • Materials: $235 Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot. - Neelam
