The Sycamore health centre yard needs a youth football pitch - Pradeep's neighborhood project

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 15 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Sycamore health centre yard, but no funding. We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $400. It will serve about 204 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in September and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $400 goes: • Materials: $300 • Permits and inspections: $30 • Safety equipment and signage: $30 • Tools hire and delivery: $40 If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people. - Pradeep
