The Sycamore health centre yard needs a rainwater harvesting system - Luciana's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a rainwater harvesting system - we need $1,200 for materials.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 16 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Sycamore health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $1,200.
It will serve about 362 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $1,200 goes:
• Materials: $990
• Permits and inspections: $75
• Safety equipment and signage: $45
• Tools hire and delivery: $90
Every share and every dollar helps.

good luck, Luciana. Gave what I could, wish it was more. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it.
thanks for sharing this, Luciana. This could happen to any of us. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Take care
Thinking of you, Luciana. I hope things turn around soon. God bless.
