The Pioneer health centre yard needs a repair café workshop - Narayan's neighborhood project

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 29 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Pioneer health centre yard, but no funding. We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $400. It will serve about 518 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance. Where the $400 goes: • Materials: $340 • Permits and inspections: $35 • Tools hire and delivery: $25 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly. - Narayan
