The old Sycamore bus depot needs a skate park - Edoardo's neighborhood project
A community-led a skate park at the old Sycamore bus depot that will serve 366 neighbors.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 21 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Sycamore bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $2,750.
It will serve about 366 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in August and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $2,750 goes:
• Materials: $1,900
• Permits and inspections: $220
• Safety equipment and signage: $240
• Tools hire and delivery: $390
