The old Lotus bus depot needs a playground - Özlem's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a playground - we need $950 for materials.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 18 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Lotus bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $950.
It will serve about 252 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in September and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.

• Tools hire and delivery: $70
