The old Freedom bus depot needs a skate park - Duygu's neighborhood project
Volunteers in Bursa are raising $650 for a skate park at the old Freedom bus depot.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 23 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Freedom bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $650.
It will serve about 166 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in March and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $650 goes:
• Materials: $440
• Permits and inspections: $50
• Safety equipment and signage: $120
• Tools hire and delivery: $40
