The old Cedar bus depot needs a community garden - Aadhya's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a community garden - we need $800 for materials.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a community garden. This year a group of 23 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Cedar bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $800.
It will serve about 581 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $800 goes:
• Permits and inspections: $410
• Tools hire and delivery: $190
• Safety equipment and signage: $200
