The old Baobab bus depot needs a community fridge - Carmen's neighborhood project
Volunteers in Cambridge are raising $3,500 for a community fridge at the old Baobab bus depot.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 13 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Baobab bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $3,500.
It will serve about 254 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $3,500 goes:
• Materials: $2,500
• Tools hire and delivery: $660
• Permits and inspections: $340
