The Maple health centre yard needs a sensory garden for children with autism - Shruthi's neighborhood project
Volunteers in Aurangabad are raising $550 for a sensory garden for children with autism at the Maple health centre yard.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a sensory garden for children with autism. This year a group of 8 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Maple health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $550.
It will serve about 501 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.

• Safety equipment and signage: $65
• Tools hire and delivery: $45
