The Liberty vacant lot needs a sensory garden for children with autism - Pranav's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a sensory garden for children with autism - we need $250 for materials.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a sensory garden for children with autism. This year a group of 8 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Liberty vacant lot, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $250.
It will serve about 167 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in March and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $250 goes:
• Safety equipment and signage: $25
• Tools hire and delivery: $25
• Materials: $200
