The Liberty health centre yard needs a covered market stall space - Binod's neighborhood project

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 25 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Liberty health centre yard, but no funding. We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $550. It will serve about 188 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $550 goes: • Tools hire and delivery: $50 • Safety equipment and signage: $55 • Materials: $445 I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
