The Harmony vacant lot needs a skate park - Taylor's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a skate park - we need $4,450 for materials.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 25 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Harmony vacant lot, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $4,450.
It will serve about 550 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $4,450 goes:
• Materials: $3,300
• Permits and inspections: $260
• Safety equipment and signage: $400
• Tools hire and delivery: $490
