The Harmony vacant lot needs a playground - Sangita's neighborhood project

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 23 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Harmony vacant lot, but no funding. We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $350. It will serve about 499 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly.
