The Harmony health centre yard needs a youth football pitch - Mai's neighborhood project
Volunteers in Hải Phòng are raising $600 for a youth football pitch at the Harmony health centre yard.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 16 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Harmony health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $600.
It will serve about 171 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in July and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $600 goes:

• Permits and inspections: $50
• Safety equipment and signage: $50

Sure. The biggest one is materials, $500. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. I'll keep the page updated.
