The Harmony community hall needs a skate park - Lourdes's neighborhood project
Volunteers in Seattle are raising $2,800 for a skate park at the Harmony community hall.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 13 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Harmony community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $2,800.
It will serve about 91 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.

• Materials: $1,650
• Permits and inspections: $290
• Safety equipment and signage: $520
• Tools hire and delivery: $340
