The Freedom health centre yard needs a covered market stall space - David's neighborhood project

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 19 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Freedom health centre yard, but no funding. We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $700. It will serve about 146 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in July and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance. Where the $700 goes: • Tools hire and delivery: $200 • Safety equipment and signage: $340 • Permits and inspections: $160 With deep gratitude, David
