The Baobab health centre yard needs a covered market stall space - Anaïs's neighborhood project
A community-led a covered market stall space at the Baobab health centre yard that will serve 425 neighbors.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 18 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Baobab health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $2,700.
It will serve about 425 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in January and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $2,700 goes:
• Materials: $1,850
• Permits and inspections: $340
• Safety equipment and signage: $280
• Tools hire and delivery: $230
