The Acacia health centre yard needs a community garden - Rachel's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a community garden - we need $800 for materials.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a community garden. This year a group of 25 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Acacia health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $800.
It will serve about 372 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $800 goes:
• Tools hire and delivery: $120
• Permits and inspections: $45
• Materials: $635
