The Acacia health centre yard needs a community garden - Kalyani's neighborhood project
Volunteers in Pune are raising $350 for a community garden at the Acacia health centre yard.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a community garden. This year a group of 10 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Acacia health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $350.
It will serve about 232 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $350 goes:
• Materials: $200
• Permits and inspections: $40
• Safety equipment and signage: $55
• Tools hire and delivery: $55
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
