The Acacia community hall needs a community fridge - Hadley's neighborhood project
A community-led a community fridge at the Acacia community hall that will serve 157 neighbors.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 13 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Acacia community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $2,600.
It will serve about 157 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in July and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $2,600 goes:
• Tools hire and delivery: $330
• Permits and inspections: $340
• Materials: $1,930
