I'm Tharun, 17, in my final year of high school. My parents work long hours and didn't go to university, so there's no one at home who can help me understand applications, deadlines or financial aid. I'd like to study economics.
I have a 3.9 average, I volunteer at my church youth group and I have a draft of my personal statement. What I need is someone to read my essays, tell me honestly what's weak, and explain how scholarships work.
I'm looking for an hour a week until December. We can do it by video from anywhere. My mother will be at home during every call, and the school counselor knows about this request.
Thanks for reading. It took me a long time to ask.
Thanks for being kind about this.

hang in there, Tharun. Hope you get there. Thinking of Dwarka
Wishing you peace, Tharun. Shared it with a few friends. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.
hope it all works out, Tharun. Education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. All the best
It takes guts to ask. Well done. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Thinking of Dwarka
praying for you. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My father had a similar thing happen so this one hit home
