Thabisa's cassava crop is failing - can an expert help?
Thabisa, a smallholder in Gauteng, is facing a fungus that keeps returning after treatment and needs advice from an agronomist.

I farm 4 hectares of cassava in Gauteng. This season I'm dealing with a fungus that keeps returning after treatment. I've tried what the local suppliers recommended, but results aren't improving.
I'm looking for an agronomist or experienced grower who can look at photos, soil-test results and my planting plan, and advise on what to change. A 30-minute call or exchange of messages would be fantastic.
I'm happy to share photos and a soil test. I'm using only what I can afford, so low-cost suggestions are best. I'll share how it goes - and what worked - to help others in the community.

Thinking of you, Thabisa. I hope things turn around soon. My mother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home
Thinking of you and your family, Thabisa. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Greetings from Jimma
Sending good thoughts. Gave what I could, wish it was more. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. All the best.
