Terry is applying to university - who can guide us?
Looking for a graduate who can spend an hour a week reviewing Terry's essays until August.

I'm Terry, 18, in Grade 12. My parents work long hours and didn't go to university, so there's no one at home who can help me understand applications, deadlines or financial aid. I'd like to study architecture.
I have a distinction average, I volunteer at a food pantry and I have a draft of my personal statement. What I need is someone to read my essays, tell me honestly what's weak, and explain how scholarships work.
I'm looking for an hour a week until August. We can do it by video from anywhere. My mother will be at home during every call, and the school counselor knows about this request.
Thanks for reading. It took me a long time to ask.
Thank you so much.

Thinking of you, Terry. I hope things turn around soon. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected
As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. God bless
Keep going, Terry. Hope this works out for you. Greetings from Awka.
Rooting for you. Good luck with the exams, you've got this. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. All the best!
