Tenant-rights advice for Tunde in Lagos: a short consultation
A brief consultation with a housing advisor would help Tunde understand their rights.

My landlord in Lagos has given me a withheld security deposit. I've read what I can online, but the rules are confusing and different sources contradict each other.
I'm hoping that someone with experience in housing or tenant rights in Lagos could spare 20-30 minutes to explain the process, the deadlines and the documents I should collect.
I have my lease, all communications and photos organized. I'm happy to share them privately. I can't pay for a lawyer, so any guidance on free services in Lagos would also be appreciated.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Best of luck. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I went through something like this 8 years ago and strangers helped me out
