Tenant-rights advice for Slamet in Jakarta Selatan: a short consultation
Slamet is dealing with an order to leave for 'renovations' and needs someone who knows the law in DKI Jakarta to explain the options.
🇮🇩 Jakarta Selatan, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia1,068 views
My landlord in Jakarta Selatan has given me an order to leave for 'renovations'. I've read what I can online, but the rules are confusing and different sources contradict each other.
I'm hoping that someone with experience in housing or tenant rights in DKI Jakarta could spare 20-30 minutes to explain the process, the deadlines and the documents I should collect.
I have my lease, all communications and photos organized. I'm happy to share them privately. I can't pay for a lawyer, so any guidance on free services in DKI Jakarta would also be appreciated.
Thank you for reading my story.
