Tenant-rights advice for Manal in Jeddah: a short consultation
Manal is dealing with a refusal to repair mold and needs someone who knows the law in Makkah to explain the options.

My landlord in Jeddah has given me a refusal to repair mold. I've read what I can online, but the rules are confusing and different sources contradict each other.
I'm hoping that someone with experience in housing or tenant rights in Makkah could spare 20-30 minutes to explain the process, the deadlines and the documents I should collect.
I have my lease, all communications and photos organized. I'm happy to share them privately. I can't pay for a lawyer, so any guidance on free services in Makkah would also be appreciated.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Thinking of you, Manal. Your post was clear and honest. Greetings from Gothenburg.
have you tried the local mosque? They sometimes help with part of this!
Hang in there, Manal. Hope this works out for you. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. All the best.
