Tenant-rights advice for Jigna in Lucknow: a short consultation
Jigna is dealing with a no-fault termination and needs someone who knows the law in Uttar Pradesh to explain the options.
🇮🇳 Uttar Pradesh, India909 views
My landlord in Lucknow has given me a no-fault termination. I've read what I can online, but the rules are confusing and different sources contradict each other.
I'm hoping that someone with experience in housing or tenant rights in Uttar Pradesh could spare 20-30 minutes to explain the process, the deadlines and the documents I should collect.
I have my lease, all communications and photos organized. I'm happy to share them privately. I can't pay for a lawyer, so any guidance on free services in Uttar Pradesh would also be appreciated.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

hope it all works out. Shared this with my family. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
Rooting for you. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My husband and I read this together. Greetings from Hamilton
