My landlord in Fort Worth has given me repeated entry without notice. I've read what I can online, but the rules are confusing and different sources contradict each other. I'm hoping that someone with experience in housing or tenant rights in Texas could spare 20-30 minutes to explain the process, the deadlines and the documents I should collect. I have my lease, all communications and photos organized. I'm happy to share them privately. I can't pay for a lawyer, so any guidance on free services in Texas would also be appreciated. Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

  • Shared it with a few friends. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Love from Mumbai.

    • Thinking of you and your family, Héctor. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. God bless.

      • Your post was clear and honest. We're a small family in Dhaka but we're thinking of you. Greetings from Dhaka

        • Best of luck. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double

          • I hope things turn around soon. Love from Onitsha.

            • Thanks for sharing this. Shared this with my family. After 11 years in farming I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Blessings.
