Tenant-rights advice for Ben in Nuremberg: a short consultation
Looking for housing-law advice in Bavaria: an order to leave for 'renovations'.
Anywhere in the world1,155 views
My landlord in Nuremberg has given me an order to leave for 'renovations'. I've read what I can online, but the rules are confusing and different sources contradict each other.
I'm hoping that someone with experience in housing or tenant rights in Bavaria could spare 20-30 minutes to explain the process, the deadlines and the documents I should collect.
I have my lease, all communications and photos organized. I'm happy to share them privately. I can't pay for a lawyer, so any guidance on free services in Bavaria would also be appreciated.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Hope things get better soon, Ben. Your post was clear and honest. After 17 years in hospitality I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Love from Joliet.
sending strength, Ben. I hope things turn around soon.
Thinking of you. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Love from San Antonio
Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Greetings from Mukono.
