Tenant-rights advice for Alejandro in Rochester: a short consultation
Looking for housing-law advice in New York: repeated entry without notice.
🇺🇸 United States877 views
My landlord in Rochester has given me repeated entry without notice. I've read what I can online, but the rules are confusing and different sources contradict each other.
I'm hoping that someone with experience in housing or tenant rights in New York could spare 20-30 minutes to explain the process, the deadlines and the documents I should collect.
I have my lease, all communications and photos organized. I'm happy to share them privately. I can't pay for a lawyer, so any guidance on free services in New York would also be appreciated.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Thinking of you, Alejandro. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I have a 10 year old who wants to send good wishes too!
Keep going, Alejandro. Hope this works out for you. Thinking of Rochester.
