Temporary foster for Pepper while Ryan recovers in hospital

I'm going into hospital for surgery on Saturday, for about 6 weeks, and I have no family nearby to look after Pepper, my nine-year-old retriever. Pepper is a bit shy at first but really affectionate.
I'm looking for a temporary foster within Birmingham. I'll provide food, bedding and medication, and cover the vet costs. Pepper is vaccinated, neutered and microchipped.
I'd love to share regular updates and photos, and I'd love to pay it forward by volunteering at the shelter when I'm better.

Hope things get better soon. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Thinking of Birmingham.
