I'm going into hospital for surgery on Wednesday, for about 5 weeks, and I have no family nearby to look after Max, my seven-year-old retriever. Max is gentle, house-trained, good with children and other animals.
I'm looking for a temporary foster within Miami. I'll provide food, bedding and medication, and cover the vet costs. Max is vaccinated, neutered and microchipped.
I'd love to share regular updates and photos, and I'd love to pay it forward by volunteering at the shelter when I'm better.

Keep going. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Wish I lived closer to Stellenbosch so I could bring a meal.
