I'm going into inpatient treatment on Sunday, for about 4 weeks, and I have no family nearby to look after Juno, my nine-year-old tabby cat. Juno is a bit shy at first but really affectionate. I'm looking for a temporary foster within Jimma. I'll provide food, bedding and medication, and cover the vet costs. Juno is vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. I'd love to share regular updates and photos, and I'd love to pay it forward by volunteering at the shelter when I'm better. You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

  • Keep going, Zewditu. Your post was clear and honest. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. All the best.

    • So sorry you're going through this. Hope the recovery goes smoothly. I went through something like this 6 years ago and strangers helped me out. Greetings from Narayanganj.

      • Thinking of you and your family. Shared this with my family. I went through something like this 9 years ago and strangers helped me out. Thinking of Jimma.

        • Sending good thoughts. Shared it with a few friends. Put this on a community board in Kumasi this morning.

          • Praying for you, Zewditu. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. After 15 years in engineering I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
