Supporting Taylor through thyroid cancer: medication, transport to San Diego University Hospital, and living costs while She can't work.

Taylor was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in August. The oncology team at San Diego University Hospital has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in October. She will be away from work for about 8 weeks.
Taylor is 52, worked as a construction supervisor until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to San Diego University Hospital 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $3,050 goes:
• Scans and lab work: $1,450
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,250
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $350
