Tanvi is ninety days into recovery and would welcome a mentor with lived experience.

I'm ninety days into recovery from alcohol dependence. I attend meetings and see a counselor, but the weeks between meetings are the hardest. I'd love a mentor - someone who has a year or more of recovery and who would be willing to talk once a week. I'm not looking for a replacement for treatment. I'm looking for someone who understands what a bad Tuesday night feels like. I'd prefer someone who's happy to do video calls. Any country is fine. I'll be respectful of your time and boundaries, and happy to pay it forward later. I hope life is good to you.

  • Thinking of you and your family, Tanvi. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. Don't give up.

    • So sorry you're going through this, Tanvi. Wishing Tanvi a smooth procedure and a full recovery. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Take care.

      • Thinking of you and your family. Your post was clear and honest. I'm in construction myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you.

        • Hope it all works out. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Wish I lived closer to Cầu Giấy so I could bring a meal!
