I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a diploma in hospitality management at Cox's Bazar Community College, and I'm one semester away from graduating. I have worked as a warehouse packer to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $700.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a first-class average, and my professor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Cox's Bazar Community College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $700 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $330
• Final term tuition: $320
• Exam and lab fees: $40
• Textbooks and materials: $10
I hope life is good to you.

Hang in there, Tania. Hope this works out for you. I'm in engineering myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. All the best.
Thanks for sharing this, Tania. Looking forward to the next update. After 18 years in hospitality I know how hard it's to ask for anything
