Talha was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in February. The oncology team at Lahore Regional Medical Center has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in April. He will be away from work for about 7 weeks. Talha is 38, worked as a bus conductor until February, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Lahore Regional Medical Center 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $500 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $350 • Scans and lab work: $90 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $60 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support. - Farhan

wishing you peace. Shared this with my family. After 21 years in public service I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Love from Cairo.

      • I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. Please keep us posted. Thinking of Lahore

        • Wishing Talha a smooth procedure and a full recovery. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. God bless.

          • hang in there, Farhan. Looking forward to the next update
