Surgery fund for Leah: valve repair surgery in Wollongong

Leah was diagnosed with gallstones with repeated infections in June. The surgeon at Wollongong University Hospital recommended valve repair surgery, and She is scheduled for September. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $8,750, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $6,100 short.
my mother has been in and out of Wollongong University Hospital since June. The doctors say gallstones with repeated infections will get worse without valve repair surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $8,750 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Leah struggles with daily life and can't work a full shift. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 5 weeks. During that time Leah won't be able to work a full shift, so the costs keep growing.
