In July I was diagnosed with severe cataracts in both eyes. My surgeon at Saint Joseph Hospital recommended ACL reconstruction, and I have been placed on the schedule for October. The hospital's financial office gave me a written estimate of $2,750, and after what the government subsidy will pay, I'm still $2,200 short.
