Surgery fund for Julián: laparoscopic cyst removal in San Francisco
A scheduled laparoscopic cyst removal in April is out of reach without help covering $6,700 of the cost.

Julián was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor in February. The surgeon at San Francisco University Hospital recommended laparoscopic cyst removal, and He is scheduled for April. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $8,500, and after what our health plan will pay we're still $6,700 short.
my husband has been in and out of San Francisco University Hospital since February. The doctors say a benign brain tumor will get worse without laparoscopic cyst removal. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $8,500 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Julián struggles with daily life and can't drive. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 6 weeks. During that time Julián won't be able to drive, so the costs keep growing.
