Surgery fund for Jing: gallbladder removal in Chandler
After a benign brain tumor, Jing was cleared for gallbladder removal, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Jing was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor in July. The surgeon at Chandler Regional Medical Center recommended gallbladder removal, and He is scheduled for October. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $11,500, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $8,600 short.
my father has been in and out of Chandler Regional Medical Center since July. The doctors say a benign brain tumor will get worse without gallbladder removal. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $11,500 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Jing struggles with daily life and can't work a full shift. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 7 weeks. During that time Jing won't be able to work a full shift, so the costs keep growing.
I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section.

• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $3,600
• Hospital stay (4 nights): $2,700
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $750
• Post-operative medication: $260
• Physiotherapy sessions: $860
• Travel and lodging for the family: $430
