Stop the eviction: 5 months of rent for Gloria's family in Accra
A notice to vacate arrived last week. Gloria needs $500 to clear the arrears and stay housed in Accra.

After a sudden layoff at the construction firm, Gloria fell 5 months behind on rent. Last Monday a notice to vacate was taped to the door, and the amount owed is $500.
The landlord was understanding for a while, but has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by March, the family must leave.
There are three school-aged children at home. Moving would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
Gloria has started working two part-time jobs, and is applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent.

The list at the bottom is the whole picture. late fees and court costs is the biggest at $45. Fair thing to want to know.
